Pack Meals. Build Community.

Join Connecting Kids to Meals on Saturday, September 12 for a high-energy morning of service, music and community as we pack 3,500 family food bags and more than 3,500 weekend meals for local kids. Bring your family, coworkers, friends or community group and help us turn Hunger Action Month into action—one meal at a time. The Outdoor Power Pack runs from 10 a.m.–noon, with check-in beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Connecting Kids to Meals, 1501 Monroe Street in Toledo. There’ll even be a Kids Zone, making this a great way for the whole family to give back together.

Jump in to action to save the children of NW Ohio from the villain that is food insecurity. For more than 40% of kids in Lucas County, it's a daily reality.

Together, Connecting Kids to Meals & Hunger Action Superheroes are already providing healthy meals for kids during Afterschool hours; when they are engaged in educational, enrichment, sports and fun activities, but we know we need to do more.

Every great superhero needs a sidekick, and we could not ask for better partners than our matching gift partners who, along with other heroes (that won't reveal their secret identity), will match EVERY DOLLAR raised up to $125,000.

We know that hunger does not stop, so let's keep fighting food insecurity in NW Ohio together to ensure that no child goes hungry in our hometown.
